The Keep Youth Strong Program - After School & School Holiday Program taps into the natural energy and passion of sports to create a safe, engaging space for indigenous children aged 5 to 19.
By offering after-school and holiday activities, the program not only helps kids stay active but also reconnects them with the importance of education, personal growth, and community engagement.
At its heart, the program transforms sports into a vehicle for holistic learning.
When young people participate in sports, they gain more than physical fitness, they also develop teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership skills.
Integrating these attributes with academic support encourages a mindset where returning to school becomes not an obligation but a desirable pathway to a brighter future.
The Keep Youth Strong Program has engaged more than 1700 participants in Central Australian and Barkly rural and remote communities through partnerships with Central Desert Shire and Alice Springs Town Council.
Blakdoll Role Models are well known in remote communities and have an established track record of success.
All programs can be tailored to suit any age group, designed to improve and develop skillsets.
